My husband and I enjoyed our first cruise to the Western Caribbean. The embarkation process was efficient and the employees were all very pleasant and helpful. In fact, throughout the cruise the employees were all very friendly and courteous. Our assigned room attendant knew our names on Day 1. The main dining room waiter Filrandy and assistant Sharon were superb! I can't rave enough about their exemplary service and genuine friendliness and attentiveness. The food in the main dining room was very good as well. The food at Windjammer was adequate and there were many choices. We ate at Chopt one night and again the waiter was superb! Of course the food there was delicious also. Our cabin had plenty of space and good storage, and the attendant always kept it tidy for us. We did feel and hear the ship vibrations but we did not think it was bothersome - actually felt like it was lulling us to sleep. The next time I would probably choose a room that is closer to the elevator as we had quite a long walk to the room each time. I felt we frequently had to wait a long time for an elevator. (My husband was not able to do the stairs). I would have liked to see the pool towels in more than one location. I would have liked to see less children in the hot tubs. I know there was the Solarium for adults, but I also wanted a little actual sun.

I thought that the speakers for the live music should have been adjusted so people could have a normal conversation. The entertainment on the ship was so-so. We chose to skip most of it. We only went on two excursions - Gumbalimba Nature Preserve in Roatan - very nice park with knowledgable guides and Beach Snorkel in Costa Maya - don't waste your money...the whole group had to be picked up by boats as the water currents were too strong for everyone. The disembarkation process was a little slow and confusing to everyone trying to pick up their luggage. Once we had our bags, the lines were long but did seem to keep moving along. Overall, I would probably go on another cruise with Royal Caribbean as the pros definitely outweigh the cons!

Cabin H

Overall the cabin is fine. The space was what I expected and storage was adequate. The luggage did not fit under the bed but we were able to put it in the closet. Wish there was a shower door and not a curtain that wouldn't stay in place.
