Just returned from a 4 day Bahamas cruise on the Norwegian Sky with a group of friends and we had a wonderful time. I cruised to Bermuda on the Breakaway last September and hated the ship so I was not to crazy about going on the Sky since it was an older ship, but that was not the case. The Sky was great! Although the ship showed some aging, I actually thought it was a great ship. Plenty to do and still did not see the entire ship during the 4 days. Sin the cruise director was so funny and I had a great time in the Casino. Had much better luck on the tables than the slot machines. Actually won on the lottery drawing, so take a chance. I wasn't going to check my tickets because I thought that I would not be a winner and actually won $100 dollars off a $2 ticket. The food was so-so, but for a 4 day cruise it wasn't bad. Ate breakfast in the dining room one morning and I think breakfast was better at the buffet. Also treated myself to a steak dinner at Cagney's dining room and it was very good. The shows were excellent. It is amazing at the hard work that is put into those shows by the dancers. Met a few of them in the café and they were all friendly and spent time talking to us and answering our questions. Overall, the staff on the ship went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was happy. I found this ship to be very people friendly and it is one that I would take again if I'm looking for a quick winter break getaway.
Cabin space was much better on the Sky than the Breakaway. Had room to walk around in and also to store belongings. TV selection was not great, but I guess you don't come on a cruise to watch TV!
