I recently went on the Conquest with my family of 7. We have cruise once on Holland America, once on Princess and twice with Royal Caribbean. I never thought that I would go on a Carnival cruise as I thought it was lower end and old. I picked this cruise as the price was right and it landed right when my kids had their spring break.

The rooms were typical of the other lines. My husband and I had a balcony and the kids were across the hall in inside. The ship itself was closely set up like all the others except I will is agree with others that it is strange that you can't walk from one end of the ship to the other on certain floors. I didn't find the decor offensive as others have stated, not that bad.

Food. This is where my surprise took off. The food was excellent! We are huge red meat eaters and the dining room had delicious options of this every night. Guys burgers was amazing, as were the tacos and pizza by the pool. Food is such a big part of the enjoyment of my trip and I was so pleased with it.
