Overall the cruise was just great! My past cruises (5) were on Princess, Carnival and Celebrity. My expectations weren't that high based on the reviews, the price and the high standards of Princess and Celebrity.

I'll vent my chief complaints immediately and move on to the good stuff.

I'm a non-booze drinker and the non-alcohol drink package was $19 a day or $89.63 for four days with tax. Boing! This hit me in the face as soon as I stepped on board. My cruise mindset regarding money is to consider the amount you spent to get there and another $100 to make you comfortable is a good investment. Let it go. After ponying up for the "drink package" I went to the buffet to get some lunch. I circled the food layout before moving in for the kill. I had to circle a few times before coming to the conclusion that the offerings weren't that great and about a third of what Princess and Celebrity offered. You won't go hungry but I was expecting a "knock your socks off" buffet and this wasn't it. Why are they charging me for Johnny Rockets and mexican food?
