We wanted to do a RCI cruise to see what all the hype was about. We usually sail Carnival. We were very disappointed with the Grandeur of the Seas. Many, many complaints. I will list a few here, Not a cruise if you have children. There were only about 120 children on the ship. The pool in the pictures looks rather big, but in fact it is not. Its about 10' x 15' with about 8' of water around the edges that is about 3" deep. Makes it look big. The average age of guests looked to be about 60 years old. There were more wheel chairs, walkers and canes than we have ever seen in one place except for a medical supply store.

BINGO. The BINGO games were a JOKE. Yes the games were expensive plus they had electronic BINGO boxes that kept track for you and all you would have to do is yell BINGO when you won (more money). You also received free cards. These free cards were pulled from a different pile. We did not see anyone win from the free cards, in fact we did not punch a single number called on the free cards each time we played.

Really the only people who seemed to win were those playing on the electronic boxes. We played only 3 times and then we stopped. We still attended the games. On Carnival ships the BINGO rooms were filled to capacity. The RCI had maybe 20 people in the room.
