The Celebrity Reflection cruise from Jan. 31 -Feb 7th was a wonderful experience. I've been on about 10 cruises and this was one of the best. The ship is super clean and all the cruise employees went above and beyond to be helpful. The boarding process in Miami was the easiest of any cruise ever taken. I don't know if that's the Miami port or the Celebrity line that made it so easy but we were in and on board in just minutes. No waiting at all. Unfortunately the debarking went quite a bit slower due to the Miami customs. Just a longer line and a bit of a wait but not really a big problem.

Back to the ship - once aboard we went directly to the cafe for lunch. So bright and clean - and such great food choices. I was impress all week long with the fact that we never, ever had to search for a place to sit and eat. Every other cruise it was something of a mad house but the Reflection must have added space as we could easily find seating for six or eight people at the height of lunch or dinner times. The only small drawback is that on this cruise, there are no wait staff offering to bring a beverage unless you are paying for one. It would be nice when your hands are full of plates and you get seated to have someone offering to bring liquid refreshment. But that is the only complaint. Food choices were vast and delicious. We ate 3 nights in the Opus dining room and it was excellent with fabulous service. The only drawback there was that it took quite a while to serve our party of 10 and so on some nights we just didn't want to take that long for dinner. We tried the Tuscan Grille one night which is an upcharge. It was very good but not as great for a paid meal as we've had on Royal Caribbean or even Carnival. However , if you want to do something special for an anniversary or birthday, the ambience and waitstaff were superb and it will make a special dinner.

Cabin was very comfy - cabin bathroom was largest we've seen. I read a bit here before going that people thought there was less storage but I didn't see that at all. There are more storage drawers that on any cabin on any ship I've been on. We had a balcony which we loved.

Cabin Review
