Well, where do I begin? Oceania Cruise Line far surpasses any cruise line I have sailed. I've sailed 8 different cruise lines and many numerous times. I would consider myself to be fairly seasoned as far as cruising goes.

With that being said, I will tell you about my experience sailing on Oceania's Marina. From the very start I felt someone actually cared about how I was going to enjoy my cruising experience with Oceania. All questions were answered and any trepidations I may have had were eased. The flights were excellent, the Captain averted a hurricane and some ports were missed but others made up for it. Excursions were just as described. Crew fantastic! If I could find a better word I would use it to describe the crew. 18 days and never once did I find the crew edgy or short with any guest. Every crew member was always neat and cleanly dressed. Other cruise lines that I have been on with shorter itineraries did not have their crew crisp and neat. I have found on other lines the crew to be tired, curt and less than attentive. Food, ha, you think you have had GREAT food on other lines than you don't know great food. Other lines offer you volume, on Oceania you receive quality and quantity, as much as you would like. Exceptional! Again, 18 days and every day was a new and different selection. Fish, so many different types quite a few I've never eaten before done to perfection. Steak, do you want it daily?? Then so be it. Lobster tails daily? That too so be it! Turkey, chicken, you name it it's there. Burgers cooked to order not some patty sitting in a warming tray waiting for someone to come along. Just the best hands down. Specialty restaurants, excellent. One comment about their French restaurant (Jaques) was some of the choices I made were a little too salty, and I'm a salt lover. I'm hoping that will be corrected for my next voyage. Entertainment was so, so but for me I really don't need all the glitz and glamour. Some entertainment was very, very good but the ships ensemble seemed to lack experience, almost amateurish, however the individual entertainers were quite good.

My overall experience is this....I booked another cruise while on board. AA+++
