This was our third time on the Explorer in less than a year. The hubby and I wanted to return to the western caribbean as this schedule was a blur for us in April of 06 due to it being our first cruise and we were with our son and daughter in law and a large firehouse member group. We had smooth flight into Miami and went right to the ship!

Embarking was the quickest we had experienced thus far as there was no waiting to go on board and no lines. Perhaps everyone was paying attention to those passes in our documents stating no one would be allowed to board until 2pm. We were in the Windjammer eating by noon.

Food was great as usual. We had Lucito from India as our waiter this time. Oscar was his assistant and did a fantastic job as well. Moses, our head waiter was with us each and every night and checked in with each and every guest. These gentlemen worked very hard for their tips and we rewarded them much extra! We did not visit Portofinos but our tablemates had and thought it was good as usual. We enjoyed Johnny Rockets for the first time and oh those milkshakes!
