We cruised Jan 6 - 13 and this was our 26 th cruise. So we are fairly seasoned Cruisers. At embarkation only two staff to manage about 100 Canadians. So slow and not very efficient!
Probably the worst cruz ever. The ship is old, commissioned in 1986 and although they advertise that it has been refurbed it sure didn't show it. Thomson line, a British flagged ship! The food was only mediocre however the staff were absolutely amazing; wasted on this ship. We were to visit four ports and only saw two. The weather was rough and so understand that we could not see San Blas as it was tendered. BUT Captian also diverted from Porta limon as he said too rough to get into that port. And that day there were divers in the water working on the ship. Capt said reg maintenance. YA right!!! Room across the hall from us had an overflow toilet that seeped into our room and although staff were apologetic and dropped off a bottle of champagne we were still out of our room for a full day because of the drying fan they used. We were told the water was potable. The ship excursion we booked in cartegna Columbia missed one of the more important stops ( for us) completly! They did give us a small refund.
The weather was great; 30 degrees plus every day. And as we said at the outset the cabin crew and wait staff were outstanding.
