We have recently returned from a Caribbean cruise on the Celebration Ship. We have cruised before on the Dream and by comparison we found the cabins to be very basic on this ship. The staff we're friendly and helpful and encouraged cruisers to have fun. We found the cruise shows excellent and the entertainment in general very good. The captains gala was a brilliant event which my partner and I enjoyed dressing up for and thoroughly enjoyed. The library was also a great resource to use, even for those who have tattoos. The Meridian restaurant and Oriental restaurant were deemed unanimously by our larger group as excellent for both service and food.

Other guests were for the most very pleasant however it became obvious that some of the guests were clearly expecting a formal P&O experience on a Thompson budget and for the most presented themselves as if they had a permanent smell under their nose. As amusing as it was to witness the discomfort of the financial decline of the prolific snobs, ultimately their presence was not conducive to a "good time". They have what could be described as the 'Victor Meldrew syndrome'!!!!!!

Apart from the disapproving guests overall we enjoyed the cruise immensely and would definitely return. We went with a larger group and I believe my comments reflect the views of all shaven head, pot bellied, tattoo'd, wasp chewing smoking bulldog members of our group....... Some of which hold university degrees, direct successful companies and all of which work hard and know how to enjoy themselves : )
