We have just returned from a 2 week cruise on the Thomson Dream. Having been on several Thomson cruises in the last 3 years the latter being also on the Thomson Dream last February cruising around the Caribbean we had no problem booking onto the Dream again. However I have to be truly honest and if you look at all my other reviews of various places I always tell the truth. The standards on the Dream have fallen well below parr from last year and unfortunately we were not the only people to feel like this. Where shall I start a10hr flight to Montego bay, the plan being that upon return to start week 2 we were hoping to see a its beauty there was certainly no beauty here advised not to go out on your own as too dangerous, and to top it off we has to stay here 2 days as we could not go to Falmouth the 1 place everyone was so looking forward to because of bad weather so we had 2 days in mentego bay( better safe than sorry I thought until I have read other reviews on her and trip advisor and apparently this is a them due to bad weather staying in the same place twice) Montego Bay was an awful place and so were the majority of the other places the ship docked they were glorified working ship yards not at all like you would imagine in such beautiful countries that you visit during your cruise so if you are looking for idyllic surroundings (forget it) Thomson obviously go to the cheapest places to dock apart from 1 day we never seen another cruise ship in port so that says it all. Thomson you certainly need to look at this as you will start loosing regular cruisers.

Some good trips but a must is the panama canal boat tour well worth the money spent. Book well in advance as there were 160 people on board who could not get tickets.

On arrival in our cabin it was late at night and we were very tired all appeared well until time for bed I went to the wardrobe to get out the extra 2 pillows for the bed and I could not believe my eyes the pillow cases were creased and absolutely filthy they had brown sweat stains, mascara and lipstick from the previous people (I did take a photograph because I knew nobody would believe me), I was absolutely livid and decided to inspect the rest of the cabin all was not well, the next morning I went down the and spoke to a member of staff he could not apologise more he was probably terrified I would report him I had calmed down so I did not report him but kept the photograph just in case. Upon our return to the cabin later that day and right up to the very end of our holiday our cabin was immaculate and smelt very clean(but this is what you would normally expect isn't it ).
