Norwegian has been our favorite cruise line for years. This was our 2nd time on the Epic. Didn't really care for the Epic the first time around. The ship was so different from previous ships. Was not impressed with the changes. We've always had a balcony, except this time we had an interior. Not going to do that again. Our fault. You don't feel like you are on a ship. The room was clean. Our attendant couldn't seem to get the number of towels correct. I had to call three different days because we were short on towels or wash cloths.
The food was good, but I was disappointed that lobster night was no more.
Cost reduction? I can't say much for the entertainment--shows, because we couldn't get in any. I wouldn't have gone to see Blue Men again. It was bad the first time we saw it and People were walking out, but we would have liked to see the other shows. They are The amenities that you pay for. It seems everything had been prebooked. We heard Other passengers complaining about the same thing. This ship was at full capacity Meaning over 4,000 passengers. It's was their biggest ship yet the theater only holds 600.
First time in an interior room. Clean but small. Didn't feel like we were on a ship. More like in a closet.
