We have not cruised with Princess for some years and having read some indifferent reviews about Sapphire Princess recently we were a little apprehensive as to whether we had made the right choice.

We need not have worried as everything exceeded our expectations. Our balcony stateroom was spotless and we were extremely well looked after by David our steward.

We ate our evening meal at the Vivaldi restaurant on our first night and had such a good experience that we returned several times. The maitre d' ran a really efficient restaurant and all the waiting staff were courteous and cheerful. We have to mention the Hungarian Chaba with his exclamations of "Showtime" when he presented our meal. He was terrific. Read more
