We have been to Noumea many times, Did our own thing and went independently to Duck Island which is just a beach. Nice place to swim and water is warm.Much cheaper to pay for the boat trip over yourself.

Lack of time to do anything, We had to pay $NZ20 to get from the container terminal where RCI docks to get into town. Other ships dock at the terminal closer to town which you can then walk into town.Went to the Museum and only then had a short time there because of early departure of ship.

Cabin Steward AT 8582 was awesome and the 2nd cabin we go was lovely. WE HAD TO GET CABIN CHANGED AS 8306 CABIN ONLY HAD 1 CHAIR SO FINALLY GOT NEW CABIN AFTER 2 DAYS OF GOING TO FRONT CUSTOMER SERVICES DESK.

CASINO - we normally have our playtime in the casino on cruise ships but this time, the loss of the $ for us was too much to have our money AUD$ converted to US$ ($AUD50 - they were only giving on the ship $US30) & then they wanted to charge a surcharge to have it put on your room account - another RCI rip off.The entertainment was so poor that we never sat through one show & in the end the lounges were not even full for the nightly shows.
