Let me start off by saying that my husband and I had an AMAZING time on our trip! We were a little hesitant about embarking on Oasis because of her size, but we had heard we HAD to do it, so we did :)

Upon arrival our time from dropping our bags off and going through security to waiting to board was about 10 minutes (we were in a suite so the wait times were significantly shorter). Once onboard we were in awe of the size of the ship, just absolutely amazing! We got our traditional glass of champagne at the Champagne Bar and started to explore. We found the ship to be manageable and each new discovery we made was more exciting than the next. We had a roast beef sandwich at Park Café (we were told we had to) and in all honesty, it was a little on the fatty side and just "OK" for our liking. We continued to walk around and were surprised that there was never an announcement that the rooms were ready, we just kind of stumbled upon our room around 1:30 PM and our luggage was already sitting at our door. We loved our stateroom (Owner's Suite) and found it to be comparable to the Owner's Suite aboard Independence (which we had sailed last year). After unpacking, we continued to explore and then (after the muster drill) it was time to go. We went to the main dining room for dinner, but did find it to be a madhouse.....it was our only time there the entire week. We were supposed to see the diving show that night, but it was cancelled due to the weather (very windy and cold). So we got drunk instead....it worked out just fine.

We met our concierge on the 2nd day (Israel and Allan) and they were GREAT! Very friendly and since we already had everything squared away, we really didn't need them to "do" anything for us, but we enjoyed chatting with them nonetheless. Israel went over the procedure for getting to our private cabana on Labadee and off we went to explore some more.

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite with Balcony

Cabin OS

GREAT ROOM!!!! ONLY BAD PART: It is 2 desk ABOVE the smoking lounge on the pool deck.....so you can smell smoke from time to time. Kinda nasty, but it only happened 3 times and it wasn't for hours on end.
