Sail Date: Jan 2013
Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

This was the first cruise that my wife and I were on that we can't rave about. We've been on 6 NCL cruises, the last being about 3 years ago, coincidentally with the same captain-different ship.

We had a mini suite and liked our cabin 12804-but it was all downhill from there!

I'm sure some of my disappointment comes as a result of large size of the boat, but that was only a minor problem. The food and menu in the included restaurants for dinner was not nearly as good as it used to be and I'm not saying that just because Lobster Night went the way of the dodo bird. Everything seemed bland and boring. We used to love eating in the main dining room so much that we only ate once in a specialty restaurant on NCL's other ships. I can't tell you whether those other ships we've been on would have been any better as it was several years ago that we were on one.
