Great time on the Jewel. We visited Cozumel, Belize City and Roatan. The ship itself was a good size. Loved staying on Deck 9 because it was a central location. We were in the front of the ship so we were just 2 flights down to the Stardust theater. I did not love the traditional dining rooms. I thought the food was very mediocre. I am a bit of a foodie and usually prefer the dining rooms to the buffet or O'Sheehans but on this ship that was not the case. We did not eat at any of the pay restaurants. The shows were decent. I enjoyed the magician and the comedian. I did not love "Band on the Run." They were ok. My kids enjoyed themselves. My husband and I relaxed. I would say this was a great vacation. We have been on 12 other cruises and this one met our expectations.

Three days at sea is a lot but we knew that when we booked. I liked sailing from Houston. It was a nice change from the Florida ports.

Great room. Loved being on the port side. You could the ports of Cozumel and Roatan from our balcony. Room was not huge but was comfortable for 3. I stayed in this room with 2 of my children. My husband and daughter were across the hall in an inside cabin in 9507. 9514 was definitely tight when the sofa bed was pulled out. Not a ton of storage. But the location was great. Very quiet area. No complaints!
