Sailed for the 2nd time with Azamara, last year Azamara Journey Singapore to Mumbai. What a difference a year makes!. The staff were far less attentive, ( maybe they were tired) the food was not good at all. The MD was taking an age to get served, but then the food that was offered was very inferior. So called hot meals were hardly tepid, and soup was so cold it had grease floating on it. It was reported to the Maitre D and for a couple of nights we had hot plates so hot that the gravy or "JUS" was just a dark stain as it had evaporated. We did not go to the self service for dinner as it was mainly currys, although for lunch they had good salad selection.

The entertainment was dire. The show " could not go on" as one of the cast had been flown home ill. Why another dancer/singer could not have been flown in I know not. To have so many pianists entertain was ridiculous. The Australian was a very good pianist but 3 times? likewise the pianist/magician twice and the usual guy from the bar who was good as background music was the "star" in the theatre 1 night. Add to that a comedian from the crackerjack ere for 2 nights and you will see what I mean. Dire.

The amazing evening was nice but quite short really, especially for those who boarded transport later than us.

Club Interior Stateroom

Cabin 12

Lovely inside cabin Small but comfy and very quiet despite its proximity to the laundrette.
