My boyfriend and I went to the western caribbean (Roatan Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya Mexico, Cozumel Mexico) last week on the Norwegian Sun. We were first time cruisers and it definitely was the best vacation we have been on. Norwegian definitely attracts the older generations, however, we met many couples in our age group (we are 26 and 29). There weren't a lot of kids, which we were very happy with, as we were looking for something more adult focused. The activities on the ship were great and there was always something to do. The activities range from game shows to bingo. There is something for everyone. A+ for the cruise staff. They really make you feel special and that they are there to make your vacation the best it can be. The ship was always clean. Good size for the rooms. The excursions were all fun. We chose to do the beach getaway in Roatan, crystal cave tubing in Belize, ATV and beach in Costa Maya, and Tulum ruins in Cozumel. I have to warn that the crystal cave tubing in Belize did not allow for any time in the port. The bus ride is long and the zip lining isn't worth it. The cave was awesome! Overall would highly recommend and we will definitely plan another cruise!
