This was my 12th cruise...Mainly have used Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. This Celebrity Summit was the worst of my 12 cruises...it was old and the staff was very unfriendly. They should retire the ship or fix it up. It was so worn out. Paint was peeling. Furnishings were worn. Our bathroom was sketchy...rusted shower hooks, cracked tiles and not clean. The staff was so unfriendly even rude which I had never seen before on a ship. Usually the staff is so nice. I asked for a bottle water at the bar by the pool and the bartender nearly took my head off. Very few of the staff would make eye contact with you or even say "Good Morning."

Some of our friends got the second largest suite on the ship and the couches and soft furniture were worn out and stained. They wouldn't sit on them...the butler's solution was to cover them with bed sheets. They paid a lot to have their couches covered in sheets. Unacceptable.

Ship had one small pool area and no other activities (rock wall, putting green, waterslides, etc.) like all the other ships I have been on. They had one shuffleboard game but it was on deck 3 not upstairs where the activities were. Read more
