Didn't know what to expect but the cruising experience turned out to be superb. So much on board choice of meals and dining options. We met some really nice fellow travellers and their experiences of cruising was very helpful. If I have one criticism of the cruise itself I would have to say that I found Henry's Pub too small for numbers wanting to drink there and Champagne Charlie's could not accommodate the number of people wanting to watch the live entertainment. Better planning of which acts should use which venues would not go amiss. My experience was that if you couldn't sit or see the acts people tended to move off to somewhere else. A minor point but important to those wanting to enjoy the entertainment.
One word of caution. Be very careful if you make your own way from ship to ports of call. In Tenerife there is a crowd of people waiting to offer taxi rides or hire cars. I'm fairly certain it was here that someone picked my pocket and wallet, on board card, cash, credit and debit cards were stolen. Spent hours in a police station filling in a report. Before anyone comments about taking care, my wallet was secured in a fastened cargo pants thigh pocket. These thieves are very able and don't think it couldn't happen to you. According to Guest Services on board Norwegian Spirit, 4 guests had been robbed that day in Tenerife!
Adequate for our use. Cases stored under beds. Balcony small but large enough for 2 people. An additional person would make available space rather restricted. Mid section cabin ideally located for getting to dining, entertainment and activities. Was intrigued why there was no cabin number 9094!
