Just returned from the Celebration. Had a week starting 8th February. We have never been on Celebration before but had sailed the Spirit which is the sister ship.
The USP of this ship for me is the small numbers of passengers limited at about 1200. It means that even on a week’s holiday it is easy to make friends and get to know the staff that recognise you instantly without seeing the name on your card.
Flights ok 767 going out and a brand new Dreamliner for the return. No complaints either way. Free drinks served a couple of times during the flight plus lunch and a light tea going out. Flight crew on both flights really friendly and helpful. There is plenty of leg room in the standard class although the premier seats are much wider but I don’t think the extra cost is worthy bearing in mind the big selling point is free drinks both ways. Don’t forget the return journey is at night and you are expected to sleep! Breakfast on the return journey is a Panini filled with all sorts of breakfast type food including bacon, egg, potato etc, to be honest a straight bacon barm would have sufficed! But a minor issue to be fair.
