Sail Date: Feb 2015
Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Two 1 week cruises back to back, first time ever I had felt indifferent about a cruise/vacation being over.

Embarkation smooth, easy, not much waiting in line. Itinerary nice, food average, staff OK, rooms nice and practical, service excellent where $ come to play - casino, bars, stores, Photoshop, etc.

BUT, service in dining rooms was atrocious. The 3:1 guest:staff ratio on this ship most certainly to blame. (vs 2.1:1 with NCL and 2.3:1 on HAL.) I did a cruise with HAL 1 year ago, the ship had total loss of power for 90 minutes, 1 hour after sailing. With dinner being 90 minutes away, expectations were low. Dinner started 15 minutes late and that service was better than any I had experienced on my recent RCL cruise.
