After reading all the reviews before i left, i was a bit skeptical about how this ship looked , people called it tacky, dated etc....omg what is wrong with people, this was so grand and well taken care of, meticulous in fact. Staff was so very friendly everywhere and always busy cleaning or serving...however if asked questions they would always respond with friendliness and have a conversation with you. We were two single women and we knew this would be a couples thing, however the couples were very friendly and open to chatting with us all the time. one more complaint we read about was the food, are u kidding??? if you dont find enough to eat on this ship there is seriously something wrong with you. Food is non ending, and varied, dinner in Washington dining room was amazing!. our dinner companions and staff were great. Vladimir was cute to look at but very friendly with everyone and courteous. Staff is very respectful everywhere even though some of the guests can be a little crass! So kudos to them for putting up with us and making us feel like we are the best guests ever. Pools are a little small and crowded as well as the hot tubs, would prefer a nice large pool instead as you could not really swim as there was no room, just good for cooling off. Also the shows were not so good, I was hoping for a musical type of show with dancers etc, but did not happen. Comedians were great. also piano bar was fun as well. Loved the recent movies shown on the deck at night by the pool. We just had an interior cabin but it was very spacious lots of storage and preferred the cost considering its just a place to sleep and you sleep way better without light from a window in the morning so i would do this again. It was well maintained by staff.

Only did two excursions booked with Carnival, in st lucia (top 10) and st thomas (beach and shopping), they were perfect. The other islands we made our own arrangements on shore with shuttles or cabs and that was fantastic, had great trustworthy drivers for this. My biggesst complaint of all WI FI !!!!!....in this day and age and specifically because the wifi is so bad on the ship, there should NOT be charges for WIFI service. It is horrible and very expensive as it is very slow. Everyone needs to be able to communicate with family (especially because we can't use our telephones for texting (roaming charges)....i strongly urge all cruise ships to provide this service (necessary) to everyone, as included !!!
