First. Never repeat never get in Room E730 on the Star Princess. It's above the Vista Lounge. First two nights it was OK, but then the shows started and the sound reverberated in the room, and also down the hall. I went to the passenger services and was told there were no rooms available. I asked to speak to a manager and the next day they found me a smaller balcony room on deck 11. The view in 730 was great but not enough to overcome the noise. You have been warned.

Cabo was great. We went on a whale watching excursion and there were lots of them. Also we liked Puerto Vallarta, where we had an excellent tour of the city and a tequila factory. Loreto and LA Paz are not worth the stop. Nothing much in either port.

This is our 4th princess cruise and the least impressive. The Star had its faults, like a power failure as we boarded. Also several elevators were out of service. I think we'll stick to newer ships.
