We are Diamond  members and have four future cruises booked with Royal, (the Liberty, the Serenade, and the Allure.) We have 29 cruises under our belts, having traveled on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, and NCL. We cruise for the dining, the entertainment, the service and the ports. I am writing as an experienced and avid cruiser to let you know that we will NEVER return on the Quantum, and why this was the ONLY bad cruise RCCL cruise we have have ever had!

I used to say every cruise is a good cruise until now. Since there was absolutely NO price deal for this ship (making the cost for eleven days much more than other ships), and with all the hype about the ship being the destination, the "dynamic dining" and the fabulous technology aboard, I guess our expectations were much higher than the sad reality- that this ship needs much improvement before it becomes the "WOW" deal Royal reports!

The Good:

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D6

Our cabin was perfect! Super quiet, lots of room for clothing in two separate closets with an additional dresser with six drawers. Overhead storage over the bed. Suitcases fit easily under the bed. Great bathroom with rain shower head and glass door. Ample shelves with lip around them, square shaped deep sink and under sink storage. Nightlight that stays on when all other lights shut off in room. Great for nocturnal bathroom trips! Very long couch for sitting or putting items on. Nice balcony with two chairs and small table. Loved the outlet next to the bed. Tiny tiny end tables on each side of bed with two slim shelves underneath. No more glass table in center of room. The table below the circular mirror, ( which lights up) pulls out if you want to use it for something like a dining table or game table. The hairdryer is stored in the top drawer of the dresser. Robes were very cozy. Loved that bed! Slept like a baby. Went right out! Enjoy!
