My wife and I are first time cruisers. My daughter decided to get married on St. Thomas and thought cruising there would be a good idea. Ten family members went on a 7 day cruise from Miami on December 6th, 2014. I booked the cruise in January and told the Cruise Consultant we were all going to the airport together and tried to get flight information. We could not get any information until about 30 days from the cruise date. then we found out we were on two separate planes leaving three hours apart. After talking to Norwegian for days, they said they couldn't do anything, I had to book airfare on my own to get us on the same flight. We were assured the flights home would be fine. Wrong the flights home were completely cancelled for four of us which I found out 5 days before the trip. I had to again book my own flights home, additional airfare now costing me $3000.00 more for the trip. Customer service is a joke, once they have your money your on your own.. Please do not let these people book any airfare for you. if you must use this cruise line book your own airfare.
Once in Miami the transfers were fine, although they were cancelled also and we had to pay for them again. Getting to the ship was no problem and boarding went well.
We stayed in room 10232 mid ship in a balcony mini suite. the room was average sized, clean with enough draws and storage. Bed was comfortable and large and the balcony slightly small, you could just fit 2 people on it.
Cabin was comfortable with a small balcony. Bed was comfortable.
