We had a fantastic time on our cruise! We met new friends & tried different things which made our cruise wonderful. The Epic was not all that hoped it would be, though. For such a large ship, there was a lot of wasted space. The most disappointing part of the ship was the pool area. We have been on smaller NCL ships whose pools were much bigger than the Epic's pool. It was split in half with a lot of walking area around the 2 "pools". Very strange. That really was our only complaint during the whole cruise.

The food was good, not extraordinary, but good. Although that macadamia nut ice cream with hot espresso poured over it in La Cucina will stay on my mind for a few months!! The bartenders were great & even comped a few of our drinks just because!! The ports were awesome as usual! Did a private tour in Ocho Rios with 3 other Cruise Critic members & we had a blast (hi Scott, Linda & Christine!!)!!! Went to the beach in Grand Cayman & Cozumel for the day & enjoyed both immensely!! All in all, we will cruise with NCL again, just not on the Epic.

Our room was very nice & since we are a couple, we didn't mind the bathroom setup. Our room steward (wish I could tell you his name), was nowhere to be seen until the last day when he came to get our luggage (which we walked off ourselves due to an early flight). On other NCL cruises, the steward knocked on our door & introduced himself & made sure that we had whatever was needed. Not on the Epic though. No worries, it didn't make or break our vacation!
