Sailed Jan 31-Feb 7 on NCL Jewel in a 2BR Haven Villa with myself, husband, three children (10, 8, 6) and my mother. Have sailed several times on NCL on different ships and in different suites.

Embarkation at Bayport Cruise Terminal was quick and painless. Arrived at 11am and was on the ship, in Cagney's before 11:45. Had lunch then our suite was ready. It was cold but my kids immediately got into the Haven pool (they had the roof closed). Our butler, Jennifer, greeted us and asked about our preferences. She did a great job all week- providing snacks otehr than the canapes (sandwiches, fruit, cookies, ect). The steward was wonderful as well- kept up with the mess of three kids without blinking.

The ship was nice, well maintained. We only used the main pool once because it was windy and chilly- we mainly used the Haven pool. The Haven Courtyard Valet (Jon) took excellent care of use and the area. Food and drinks were always prompt. It was too windy to use the Haven sundeck.

Cabin Review

Courtyard Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

The cabin was excellent. Enough space even with 3 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of plugs and storage space.
