The five day cruise I recently took on Celebrity Constellation was a mixed bag - some good, some not so good. Let's start with the good: check in was a breeze; no really long lines and plenty of agents. Debarkation was equally as easy - bags grouped by number and seperated so you didn't have to trip over other bags. Room - big enough for a solo traveller (me) but I think 2 people would find it very crowded. Stateroom steward was vey attentive, friendly. And then there is the Captain...a wonderful young man and very available and willing to take pictures anywhere he happened to be. And his morning updates were funny and factual...a great sense of humor.
Not so good: although the food was good, it was relatively unispired, nothing to write home about. A couple of my entrees were barely warm. Service was just OK. Our server was always around but delivery of the food was slow three of the five nights. Buffet lunches were ok, the usual fare. Breakfast was good and featured a carving station...nice touch. There was sushi daily at 5:30 but it was not well publicized.
Entertainment was only fair at best. The last night was billed as an extravaganza with high flying acts, etc.
Clean, well lit. Desk was very small. This would be crowded with two people.
