We booked this cruise fairly late as a way of celebrating my special birthday. Having never done Freestyle cruising before we were wondering what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. On average people were more smartly dressed in the evenings than even on formal nights on a Celebrity cruise last year to Alaska. Food and service were all very good and the evening entertainment was the most varied and probably the best we have ever seen on a cruise ship.

Now for the niggles:

Why oh why in the 21st century do they still allow smoking in the casino. Very often a trip to the roulette table was curtailed by a very rude smoker who dropped ash all over me within seconds of arriving at the table. I refuse to accept this and just cashed in and left.

Cabin I2

Our cabin was only an inside one but it was HUGE even compared to some with a balcony. Not sure why but it was great.
