My husband has mobility problems and we required assistance to get through the airports and embarkation this service was excellent until the airline lost his walker on the way back! Anyway it is on its way home from Tenerife now.lol. The cabin was an inside basic priced one and it was small, would book a "plus" cabin in future which has a little more space and an extra wardrobe. Comfortable beds though. No noise even though near the lifts midship level 4. The crew were wonderful. The entertainment was amazing they worked so hard and so much talent. Comedian was brilliant and games and quizzes were fun. Excursions were first class if a bit pricey worth it though to feel looked after. On the coaches our seats were reserved at the front due to my husbands mobility problems, we didnt request this so it was a nice touch. The food was OK not excellent but OK nontheless. Service in the waiter service restaurants was very slow but this may have been due to our eating at busy times. Food choice was exactly the same in the self service restaurant. only niggle here was that sometimes the food wasnt warm enough. That way we could choose exactly what we wanted and not have to wait. Nice having Chefs Corner on deck too for something different. Drinks Package was well worth the money as the wine was good and the spirits were branded names. Cocktails were a speciality too. We were on a Cruise and Stay package so the second week was in the Marylanzer Hotel in Las Americas Tenerife. It was a 4* plus a Thomson Platinum Hotel. Very nice layout, low rise buildings around two pools. Food was to die for! seemed like endless choice! but wine was abysmal spirits were cheap brands and entertainment was a bit of a let down after the Thomson Majesty crew. There was a Beatles Tribute and a great illusionist though to be fair. On reflection, we both agreed that we wished we had done two weeks on Majesty instead of the cruise and stay. We look forward to sailing with Thomson's again next year.
