My husband and I have taken numerous cruises, mostly with Carnival. The Liberty is a nice ship, appeared clean and everything worked as it was suppose to. It is your typical ship as far as décor and layout goes. We had an inside cabin and allowed Carnival to select our room since it was the least expensive. We were in cabin 7327 which was next to an Air conditioning equipment room. When we boarded and met our wonderful steward "Rodney", we asked if there was any noise that came from that room. Rodney said there had never been a complaint about it. Unfortunately, there was a humming and grinding sound that went on in the evening about every hour, it didn't bother me but did my husband. The Liberty's dining room and buffet service was fantastic and the food was cruise ship food. The Guy Fieri burger spot was very popular and the burgers were good as was the added Mexican bar with Tacos and burritos. The entertainment on the ship was mediocre with the exception of a fantastic band "Music Power". They played by the pool and then near the casino. They were one of the best bands we have heard in a very long time. They played oldies, rock, country, just about anything you wanted. If you are on the Liberty don't miss them. The adult comedy show was pretty funny, but everything else was ho hum!
The ports of call were Nassau, which we have been to many times, then San Juan which was great, St. Thomas, which everything was very expensive and Grand Turk which we loved!
Comfortable inside cabin with enough storage space. I wish they had larger TVs and more than one electrical outlet. Our service was great and everyone aboard The Liberty was helpful and friendly.
