We are upper-tier (longtime RCL) cruisers with nearly all our journeys on RCL. We have been on Navigator before, and expected the typical first-rate services and entertainment. This cruise was disappointing. As a casual cruiser, I often wore dress shorts with a nice shirt to the dining room. No more. RCL has changed their enforcement policy and will no longer serve persons who are not well-dressed for dinner. I guess they are not interested in casual cruisers any longer. Room service (thankfully) was excellent. Quality of the RCL song and dance show the second night was awful, as was the adult comedian. Thankfully the shows got better, and the ice show is incredible, as always. This was the first cruise we have ever taken on RCL where we left a bit disappointed. Guest services staff were bored and once even rude. The Coca-Cola fountains were so weak it could barely be tasted at all venues. The cruise director was missing in action compared to our previous cruises. Windjammer was a great place to be, but it seems their hours of operation have been reduced to where guests had to wait for it to open, and it closed much too early. Just did not feel the WoW anymore. We actually cancelled another cruise we had booked onboard, and decided to try another cruise line next time. I do not understand why things have deteriorated, because this cruise was fully booked and it seemed lots of drinks were sold. Sorry RCL... just being honest.
