I am 15 years old and I went on the biggest cruise ship in the world, the Allure of the Seas for a 2015 New Years cruise. This is my review.

I wanted to go on this ship because it is so much bigger than the Carnival ships I have been on and seemed to offer many more things to do. We stayed at the Marriott Renaissance Cruise Port which is very near the cruise terminal. We parked our car at the hotel for only $10 per day which is cheaper than what they charge at the cruise terminal. HINT, you have to ask for long term parking or else you can get charged $25 per day. We took a shuttle ($6 per person) from the hotel and arrived 5 minutes later at pier 18, where the Allure was docked.

Embarkation: Out of all the cruises I have been on (4 on Carnival and two on Celebrity), this cruise had by far the quickest and easiest embarkation I have ever seen. My Dad received an email a couple of days before the cruise recommending what time we should arrive at the terminal and since we were on deck 10 it said we should arrive at 1:00pm which was the earliest time other than people in suites which were supposed to get there as early as 12:30pm. We arrived at 11:45am and were walking on the ship by 12:00pm. We tried to go check on our room but the hallways to the rooms were locked and they said the rooms would be available at 1:00 pm. We headed to the Windjammer Restaurant to eat at the buffet until our rooms were ready. We had a nice relaxing lunch next to the large windows and my Dad was able to check his fantasy football lineups one last time.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

The room was good sized and the walls must be thicker than other ships becuase I never heard any noises from the cabins next to us. At night we did use a white noise generator App on the Ipad just in case though. The pillows were ok, but I like to bring my own pillow so that really doesn't matter.
