My wife and I couldn't have asked for anything more. We normally cruise on Carnival so we were constantly comparing the two. The best thing was our balcony. Unlike other balconies we've had where there was just a divider separating the balconies, this ship has steel walls between. So no lights or sounds or smoke came into our balcony. That made it so private feeling. The other thing we really liked was the promenade. We enjoyed sitting at the various bars while watching the people walk by. We thought the food was better than Carnival. The shows in the main theater were interesting, about the same as Carnival. Another positive was the fact that there were very few children and also not many 20 something year olds running around drunk....Definitely an older crowd than Carnival. Other things of note: we never had a problem finding a table at the buffet, the lines weren't long. We didn't smell any sewage that other reviewers have complained about and we didn't think the ship looked worn out like others said. Bottom line, we don't have anything negative to say, it was a fantastic experience.
My wife and I also renewed our wedding vows on board and everyone made us feel really special.
great cabin, very quiet. The balcony had steel walls separating it from other balconies which made it feel really private.
