Overall, the ship was a bargain for what we paid. There was ample room without feeling overcrowded. The crew and staff was very friendly. For a three dayer, they also had enough to do. The big negative was the food. For example, the bread during dinner during our Sunday on the ship was hard as a rock. Uneatable. So was the English muffin used to make our eggs benedict. It was so hard, we couldn't even cut it with a knife.
All the sops, no matter what you order, are just broth. The union soup, for example, was a broth with a crouton in the middle. The dinner selections were also very blah. Put it this way, two of the three nights I ordered spaghetti. That should tell you everything. No lobster, no fillet, no shrimp, no crap. Nothing exciting. After all, dining is a big part of cruising no?
The entertainment was decent. The had a comedian named Russ Rivas that was pretty funny. Also a Las Vegas type show that was pretty good. Biggest complaint was the boring staffer running the karaoke club on Sunday night. She could not get back to her cabin fast enough. No fun. She wasn't in to it. Then, although scheduled to stay open until 12 midnight, at 11:20 she said she was closing early, because no one had signed up to sing at that moment. Didn't matter the place was packed and people were building enough courage to get up and sing.
