To start, we have never been on a bad cruise. Some have been better than others, but we always manage to have a good time. The Getaway was one of the best cruises we have on which we have gone. The food was excellent as were the shows. The ship was extremely clean and well kept and the decor was amazing. Of course you can nit pick, such as a server giving me the wrong entree one night, but they are extremely busy and mistakes happen. I just enjoyed the different entree and got to enjoy a meal that I was not expecting. Yes, there are up charges for additional activities and amenities, but at the base price of these cruises, this is to be expected. The only negative that I have, is in the Spa. It was wonderful, but I was reluctant to book additional activities there due to the constant pressure by the staff to purchase additional products and services after you completed your activity. However, this tends to be a standard practice on all cruise ships that can actually hurt the spa's business by driving people away. All in all though, a wonderful cruise.
