We sailed a second time on the Summit and there were some goods and some bads. We booked an outside cabin and it was fine. Plenty of room for everything. The first night seating in the main dining room was poor, but the "lead" changed us for the rest of the cruise. The prime rib was excellent the first night. We ate breakfast in the main dining room when possible, but only the salmon was consistently good. The breakfast upstairs was better, with an omelet station and good options. We tried the main dining room for lunch and, again, lunch was better at the buffet. We enjoyed great fun and martinis at the Martini Bar. Great service and entertainment. The dinner following was just alright. Nothing stood out. We think the food options and quality were poor. Even the steaks on the option menu were at best good. We have enjoyed much better meals on previous cruises with Celebrity.
The ship layout is good, with little experience of crowds. On and off the ship was easy. All the crew were helpful and happy. The shows were very good, although we found no seating at the magic show. The public areas were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly all the time. The only problem seemed to exist in the main dining room.
