We’ve wanted to sail on the Breeze ever since we first saw her tied up across from our ship on Grand Turk. We finally got our chance when we saw a great bargain on a six day cruise in January. We packed our bags and headed south, away from the freezing cold and snow.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites Miami-Airport / Blue Lagoon. This is a like-new hotel and it’s easy to get to from the interstate. The hotel has a package deal that includes parking and shuttle service to and from the ship. On the morning of our departure we enjoyed the free breakfast, caught the shuttle and headed for the ship.

Once we got dropped off we began the embarkation process: passports, security, and then a line to get our ships cards. In all it took us about 45 minutes before we were able to walk the gangway and head to our room. We dropped off our carry-on bags and began a tour of the ship.

Interior

Cabin 4C

This was probably the most spacious interior room we've ever had. It's positioned uniquely in that it's "sideways" from the door; i.e. the bed is to your left when you enter the room instead of straight ahead. This configuration results in a lot more space. We would love to have this room again!
