My wife and I took our 8th Celebrty cruise on January 24th on the Reflection. We were in an S1 cabin as far aft as one can go in 7309. The Reflection is a beautiful ship. The food was outstanding and for the most part the service was terrific. Having been on all the Solstic class ships except the Solstice, I can't understand why there are only 2 elevator banks on a ship with 3,000 paasengers? I became way too close with lots of paasengers.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Treadmills in the fitness center were not always operating correctly, especially the A-V equipment.

Our cabin was spacious and bright. However it was not clean when we arrived and they had not prepared it as we had asked Celebrity weeks before the cruise. Only once was our room prepared properly. It seems as though the office is not speaking to the ship. Also I would never take a cabin again at the back of a Solstice class ship. Every day there was black specks of soot from the stacks above us all over our verandah. I had read about this, but I thought we would be safe on the 7th floor. Sadly I was wrong. If you look at the ship, not the deck plan and you see that each floor goes out further making it easy for the soot to reach all floors. The room was very noisy and it was a very long walk to and from the elevators. Lesson learned; never in the back again.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

Bright large room that is very noisy, toofar from the elevators and gets sprinkled with soot from the stacks every day. Not only is it not worth the money, but there should be a discount to take this cabin.
