I went on a 3 night cruise out of Miami on the boat Sky. We got the ultimate beverage package. Every single time we got a drink we had to fill out a receipt; which slowed down the bars immensely and what a waste of paper. I was also disappointed that there were a handful of items that we couldn’t get with the package IE. Cappuccinos/lattes, certain specialty drinks, bottled water, glasses of wine $10 or more.

Personally, I thought the food was not great. They have the buffet and 2 complimentary restaurants but the restaurants serve the exact same menu. How does that make sense? I thought all the food in the restaurants just tasted like buffet food nothing special. The specialty restaurants may be better but who wants to pay extra. I felt the rooms were very dated. Staff was nice. Don’t waste your time sitting through the shopping seminar you feel like you are at a timeshare presentation and you get all the same coupons handed to you on the streets outside the shops. Overall I would not book a Norwegian cruise again.
