I've been cruising on Royal Caribbean for about 12 years now, and have loved every single cruise. The latest was out of Galveston to the Western Caribbean and while the ship does have some fantastic amenities, I was a little disappointed in the level of attention the crew gives the passengers now.

I am accustomed to being able to sit just about anywhere on the ship, on deck by the pool or in the theatre waiting for a show to begin, and having someone come by carrying a tray of interesting tropical drinks already made-up to choose from or to take and bring you your drink order.

This cruise, they pushed the drink package really hard on the first day, so I purchased one only to find they now have instead of 10 or so waiters walking around the deck at any given time, just one or two, leaving you to have to go to the bar and wait in line and then only one or two of the bars would be open, and only one or two bartenders making drinks.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This Cabin seemed to be a little smaller than usual, but also seemed to be newer as the Mariner of the Seas, the Navigator's sister ship, did not have cabins on the 12th deck. I think the staterooms on this deck were added which took away from the outside running track.
