This is my first review and I am hesitant to write it as with any critical post I have made,i have gotten "flamed".

First,Hawaii is lovely and the ship was also. However the crew for the most part were unfriendly and at times rude.

This was out 17th cruise and second Hawaiian cruise, the first being in 2005 on NCL Wind. Our first cruise was nice as we saw all the islands and also had sea days.We choose this cruise as the pricing was good due to the date we choose being considered "distressed".Our package consisted of 2 nights pre-cruise at the Waikiki Marriot, air fare, all transfers, the cruise,20 photos, and chocolate covered strawberries at embarkation. We had a direct flight from the east coast to Honolulu. We arrived on time, found our bags, and the NCL rep.We waited a shot time for a shuttle and were on our way to the hotel. To our surprise,we found that we had to make our way into the hotel with our luggage and find the NCL rep to check in.Check in was handled in the NCL area and it was nice to avoid the long check in lines. We received leis and then were told how to get to our rooms. It was a long walk with our luggage but we were fortunate to find a bellboy to assist us.After settling in our room,we set out to explore Waikiki. After walking around for a while we decided to eat a Lulu's Waikiki,a restaurant a short walk from the hotel that had been recommended on Trip Adviser.Had drinks and dinner and walked around a bit longer.Friday was on our own.We had made reservations at Duke's for dinner(recommended on Hawaii boards). While strolling about we checked out the location of Duke's and confirmed our dinner reservations.Initially the reservations couldn't be found were eventually found.Spent the rest of the day at the beach and relaxing.Dinner was nice but I would have rather gone back to Lulu's.
