I am not a hard grader at all. I've been on 2 other Carnival ships and I like this one the least. The Liberty and the Glory was outstanding as well as the staff. The Victory has along ways to go. I already knew that the ship needed updating but the grounds were terrible. Terrible like dingy. I didn't even want to get in to the pools cause they just looked dirty. Carnival does a great job of keeping things clean but it just looks old for being built in 2000. But I just tried to have a good time regardless.

Again the other cruise directors were great. But Marcalo just didn't cut it for me. He made me not want to go to any of the shows because we didn't even have a nice sail away party. Besides the 2 big hot tubs in the middle of the deck the party sucked. On the other ships we danced and partied all the way into the sea. With this cruise director everything was just boring. Maybe my family is spoiled.

The Lido deck was always crowded and the bars on the Lido were very bland and boring. The same food was served all the time and it was still hard to get a bite to eat due to the lines.

Bathroom was very dingy. Tile grout lines were dirty and it just looked old. The air condition was in the ceiling which was weird but hey it worked. Everything was pretty standard. Noel our room attendant wasn't bad.
