We booked a very last minute 11 night cruise on the Jade. This was our second cruise on the Jade, the first one was the Eastern Mediterranean two years ago. For less than $450/pp for an inside cabin, we knew how to adjust our expectations and had a great time despite a few hiccups. Embarkation was efficient and non-eventful - we skip the obligatory photo's every time which speeds up on-and-off boarding. The interior of the ship was exactly the same as we left it, which is a good sign since that means the company have kept up the maintenance.

Itinerary: 9 port of calls in 11 nights - absolutely the one single aspect that compelled me to rebook with the Jade. We sailed from Rome-->Livorno (Florence)-->Monaco (Nice)--Toulon (Marseille) -->Barcelona-->Valencia-->Cagliari-->Naples-->Rome. I intentionally left out Palermo because this call was cancelled due to poor weather. So another sea day was its sad replacement.

Ship: bright, vibrant interiors and some of the finishing were simply tacky looking. If you're into the Hawaiian theme, boy are you in your element. Still left over from when the Jade was the Pride of Hawaii and plied the Hawaiian waters. All of the public areas were clean, spacious, and generally not teaming with people (except on sea days).
