Sail Date: Jan 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was my DW and my 6th Cruise (3 RCI and 3 Carnival) for our 16th wedding anniversary. All of our cruise have been in January, either for our honeymoon or anniversary celebration, except for one in the summer with the family. The Allure is a beautiful and amazing ship with lot of activities, I can see why some have sailed it multiple times in it short 5 year of existences.

Sail away day went well we arrived at 10:45am and checking quickly then we had to wait in a comfortable lounge for the ship to clear customers after all previous guest where let off. Apparently customs is not providing the same number of agents as before so it take a little longer to get passengers off the ship. But it was ok and we were on the ship by 12:30.

Cabin was not ready till 1pm so we went straight to Park Café to try the famous roast beef sandwich. We saw a waiter from Giovanni's across the way and we decided to make reservation for specialty restaurants and take advantage of multiple restaurant discounts. We book Giovanni's, 150 Central Park, Izumi and Chops Grill, later on the cruise we had dinner at Rita's Cantina. We received a 25% off at all the dinning locations.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin 8208 was great except for the bed being by the door. bathroom, space was al good. We only get ready for dinner and sleep in our cabin anyway.
