This was our first cruise, so in spite of a lot of research, it was an adventure for us. The departure process was long but moved fairly quickly. I imagine on a summer day in that warehouse it would have been much more uncomfortable.
The food was mostly excellent. While I understand portion control and not wanting to haul food waste, portions were very small, ridiculously so in some cases. Of course, you can order as much as you want, but we had some appetizers that were literally a single bite. The dinner service was occasionally slow, but always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast service staff was a little more disinterested. We ate in Sensation (open time) and never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a private table, and were always sat right away when sharing. Coffee, though, where do I start? It is uniformly terrible after breakfast where it is passable. The instant machines on the buffets make better coffee than the dining room at night. (there is a coffee bar that makes excellent coffee drinks, but they are an extra charge)
The Coconut Grove buffet is usually excellent, as is the Lido grill. There is a Mongolian BBQ, but be prepared to wait 15-20 min in line to eat. 24 hour deli, pizza and soft serve ice cream!
The cabin was roomy enough and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Our steward was Paolo and he was very friendly and attentive.
