This was our third cruise with RCI and we had a great time!
Embarkation :: This is just about the only thing that wasn't great, but it was no fault of the cruise line. Apparently, we were getting on board after a heavy metal cruise and there were still passengers from that cruise on the ship who they could not find. While they looked for them, we all stood in line for over an hour without moving an inch. Until this sailing, it has never taken us more than 45 minutes or so from start to embarkation. This time took about 3 hours and many passengers had it worse than us. Also, we never saw anybody to take our bags at any time. So, we just carried them on ourselves, which was fine.
Cabin :: Our cabin was perfect. Clean. What we'd expect. Our stateroom attendant was very efficient and unobtrusive, which we like.
This was a great room! Our first balcony and now there's no going back. This stateroom is on the port side toward the back of the "hump" which makes it especially private because of its orientation. It's extremely close to the aft stair/elevator bank so it was very convenient to get to get to Windjammer and to the outdoor pool area (just out the door and up a few flights) and to the main dining room (down a few flights). We loved that it was so centrally located. It was clean, spacious, and everything we'd hoped for in a stateroom.
