First let me say was not our first cruise even though it is my first review on this Site. We are in our mid 50's. We have been on NCL, Royal Caribbean and Costa in the past. We had never been on Celebrity before. Before going on this cruise, I was a little concerned that some reviews mentioned this ship was worn and showing her age. That was not our opinion at all nor the other couple we cruised with. You would really never know that all the carpet was not brand new and that goes for most of the other furnishings as well. It was impeccably clean, the food was great and the entertainment was excellent in the main Theater each night (actually much better than we expected) The ship was completely full we were told, but it never felt like it was crowded. I am sure the bigger, newer Celebrity ships have more bells and whistles like some of the large Royal Caribbean ships we have been on but this one suited us fine. Maybe next time we will try one of their Bigger/ Newer ships just because we enjoyed this trip so much and the Celebrity Experience.

SERVICE: Room Attendant , Diane was excellent. She is one of the nicest people we have ever met (and honest) One night we left our safe open and unlocked by accident with $1000 cash as well as jewelry in it and when we returned hours later, Diane had been in the room to turn down the beds and every penny was still there and there is no way she could have missed seeing it wide open. She is the best !

FOOD / DINING: We did Select Dining and usually went to the main dining room around 7 PM or so. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. The food was excellent. I don't know how anyone could complain (although we did see a couple of rude / unhappy people who probably just hate their life ! ) We did not try the Normandie or Qsine Specialty Restaurants nor did we miss them. Service was always excellent. We would highly recommend the BISTRO on 5 when you first board the ship. Avoid the crowds at the buffet. This was very relaxing and the food was great. Definitely worth the $7 to unwind a bit after the journey getting to ship. I am not a huge fan of Buffets when on vacation but besides of the need to "serve yourself", the food quality and variety was excellent.
